In this room daily activities are planned to meet all the areas of learning and development, they are evaluated with each child’s development being recorded in order to plan accordingly, supporting them to the next stage of development. Children are regularly observed so we can identify learning styles, interests and further children’s learning at their own pace. For the majority of time children are given the freedom to explore their environment, learning through play, enabling them to become more independent.
The children are cared for by experienced members of staff. One has gained her level 4 certificate in Early Years and is also the Special Educational Needs Coordinator. Other members of staff are NVQ level 2 & 3 qualified and have a full-time apprentice to assist them.
